Hand-built from Benin clay and wood fired in a mud brick kiln to a low temperature. These works were made while in Residence at Villa Karo, Finnish Institute for West Africa, in Gran Popo Benin. Special thanks to Master Potter Miriam N’nanki for her firing help and sourcing clay.
